About One Vision Events

Michelle had a dream.... it was a dream to hold a big children's tea party, and she asked me to help in achieving that dream!!! After many hours of discussion, we realised that we were not going to make much money for the charity on this basis, and began to investigate other avenues. Eventually we decided on this outdoor concert. 

Both of us had a background in event organising, myself whilst working as a Bank Manager and Business Development Manager with Lloyds TSB, and having just completed qualifications in Wedding Planning. Michelle, working as a Financial Director in her own business and having organised a huge charity 'Bond' night the previous year with her husband, which had been a great success.
 
So, 'It's a Kind of Magic' was born.
 
We have been passionate from the word go, that this had to be an event that everyone would want to go to, we wanted families to come, so that children could enjoy a fun live concert in a safe envionment. We have worked hard to ensure that the word MAGIC really meant something, and we are certain, that everyone who comes along will hopefully agree that we have achieved this.
 
We have had a huge amount of help and support from some wonderful professionals in Wealden District Council, Steve Tomlin from RANA, Event safety management, the guys at the Yew Tree, and many, many more. Which we are eternally grateful to, as we could not have achieved this without their guidance.
 
We plan on having future charity events, not all of this size, but with the same theme, to try to make a difference to a local charity, and raise their profile in this area. With this in mind, we named ourselves 'One Vision Events', as we feel this describes perfectly what we are both trying to achieve.
